THE LATEST AND GREATEST:
I’m pleased to report that I began work on my next novel, in which I return to the Anglo-Saxon world for a story set in early medieval Britain, in early June. I’m proceeding steadily through a rough draft and am thankful to say that work is going well. I’ll have updates and announcements as they come. Stay tuned!
Wednesday, April 3, I did a reading and booksigning in Piedmont Tech’s main library on the Lex Walters Campus in Greenwood. I read a chapter from my most recent novel, Griswoldville, to a good and encouraging turnout. Read more about it here.
Saturday, January 26 I participated in the Local Authors Expo at the Hughes Main Library in downtown Greenville, South Carolina. It was a wonderful experience. You can find out more about the event here. Thanks to all who stopped by!
Griswoldville has arrived!
Griswoldville is a historical novel set in my home state, Georgia, during the American Civil War. The story follows young Georgie Wax and his grandfather, Lafayette “Fate” Eschenbach, as they look after the Wax family farm in Madison County. As the war turns against the South, Georgie, his grandfather, and his cousins find themselves conscripted into the state militia. After the fall of Atlanta, the war sets them on a collision course with the enemy and a profound loss of innocence. You can find out more at the Griswoldville page in the Books section. You can also go to Amazon from there or click through here to find the paperback and Kindle editions.
Thanks for reading! I hope y'all enjoy it.
